A film called "Expulsion, The Story of Acadia" will be shown. The film depicts the British expelling 10,000 French Acadian pioneers in 1755 from Acadia, today's Nova Scotia. Henry Wadsworth Hawthorn's story poem called "Evangeline" who is separated from her lover Gabriel by the British in 1755 remains a classic story of devotion and love.
