Summer 2025 Dates Announced!

July 7 through August 8, 2025

Please note, there will be no camp on Thursday, July 17th, and Friday, July 18th, so be sure to mark those dates on your calendar.

Lunch, Learn & Play is a free summer program for Salem students entering kindergarten through 6th grade.

This FIVE-week program (five days per week and five and a half hours per day) will run from Monday, July 7th- Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00am- 2:30pm for Salem area children.

We will adhere to all NYS guidelines and safety regulations posted for summer camps. This program gives parents/guardians a safe, healthy, and educational place for their children to enjoy for the day. LL+P takes place in the Youth Barn and on the side yard of the Courthouse. Offsite venues include field trip sites to places like Merck Forest, Salem Art Works, Bancroft Library, Fort Salem Theater, and many community walks in town.

Campers will enjoy a nutritious lunch, which will be served at 12pm. This year lunch will be served at the Courthouse. Most of the day will be spent outdoors in the fresh air with great teachers and counselors, making new friends and practicing good social skills with a focus on safety and health. Local individuals and organizations present educational, creative, informational, and fun activities for the children over the summer.
