Gretchen am Spinnrade, Op. 2 (D. 118), by Franz Schubert, performed by soprano Iris Rogers, accompanied by Daniel Schulman on piano.
Igor Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat (The Solider’s Tale) combined chamber music, dance, and spoken word to tell the tale of a soldier making a deal with the devil and becoming a victim of his own greed. Featuring Daniel Shulman, Kaori Washiyama, Susan Daves, Matthew Gold, Paul Green, Wesley Hopper, Robert Zimmerman, Adam Shulman as the Soldier, Jack Boggan as the Devil, and Siri Allison as the Narrator.
