The Courthouse will hold its 6th Annual Fall Fundraising Event entitled Beer’ n Brats, which will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 3 pm- 7 pm. This year we are limiting the number of tickets sold to ensure a more socially distanced environment outside. The Courthouse will only be selling 150 tickets (down from the usual 300) and no tickets will be sold at the door.  Admission to the event is $35.00, so get your tickets NOW!

This price includes admission & unlimited samplings of beer. It will also include brats, pulled pork, or vegetarian dish (mac and cheese) – please select which one you would like so we can source food appropriately. The Hangry Scot will cater for this event and will purchase brats from Yushak’s Market.
We also ask patrons to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Salem Food Pantry to help our neighbors in need.

Admission price ensures samplings of all the beers provided by local breweries from Washington County and the surrounding area. Thank you to the following brewers who have donated beer to us: Argyle Brewing Co., Artisanal Brew Works, Great Flats Brewing, Highlander Brewery, Bound by Fate, and Soulcraft. If you are a brewer and want to participate in our event, please reach out to us at hscpa@salemcourthouse.org or call 518-854-7053.

The band, Simple Beggars, will be performing from 4- 7 pm for entertainment.

This event is a fundraiser for the Historic Salem Courthouse which will help ensure programs and services continue to be provided in a meaningful way throughout the year.

The Courthouse will also have a basket raffle for all to enjoy. There will be corn hole, a ping pong table, and other outdoor activities.

Finally, we are excited to be showcasing Elizabeth Donaldson’s photography at the Courthouse. Liz is a local artist from Washington County and she will be exhibiting her work in our Great Hall. Her exhibit will run from Saturday, October 2nd– Friday, November 5th.
