History Lectures

This program’s session has ended. Salem historian William “Al” Cormier often leads our annual history lecture series in the archive room, helping to share the rich history that Salem and the surrounding area has to offer. This past March, our lectures included: Al Cormier discussing Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus; Sarah Craig discussing Cafe Lena and the the inside story of America’s legendary folk music coffehouse located in Saratoga Springs; and Cliff Oliver reprising his role as Soloman Northrop, the American abolitionist and primary author of 12 Years a Slave.

Stay tuned for upcoming lecture schedules!
